BEAUTY: The New Charlotte Tilbury Palette Of Dreams

I better start by saying that I am already a huge fan of the Charlotte Tilbury line. I own a decent number of her products and I can honestly say that I haven't found one yet that I haven't liked, although I have deliberately stayed clear of her infamous Magic Cream as I just don't think it would get on with my oily skin. Anyway, it's no surprise that I was very eagerly awaiting the arrival of her
first full on palette and it most certainly did not disappoint.
The 'Instant Look In A Palette' really is a thing of beauty, cased in her trademark burgundy packaging and incasing a really beautiful mix of fairly neutral hues while, being a Charlotte Tilbury product, delivering a nice amount of glow to boot. Considering the amount of product, the packaging is quite compact and could be easily classed as handbag size, dare I say it even clutch bag size and the best thing about it is the huge mirror in the lid which, being designed as a sort of 'on the go' product, is really handy.
In terms of the product itself, there is a nice mix of old and new with the Filmstar Bronze & Glow' duo and the Swish and Pop blushers joining forces with three new eyeshadow shades, however there is no mention as to which shades the blushers are so I'm not entirely sure whether these are exclusive to the palette or not. As is my experience with previous Charlotte Tilbury products, the quality is excellent with the eyeshadows being particularly pigmented, soft and easy to blend although beware of fall down, it's definitely a good idea to give your brush a good tap before applying these. Formulation aside, the colours in this palette are really lovely with the eyeshadows being warm yet neutral with the ability to glam it up with the shimmery shade and the blushers bringing a subtle yet healthy look to the cheeks. I had never previously tried the Filmstar Bronze & Glow and thought it might be a little to shimmery for me but I really love it. The bronzer looks like it has shimmer particles in but when applied to the skin doesn't appear shimmery at all and actually works really well as a contour to give good definition while making your skin look healthier which is something I definitely need. Again the highlighter looks very shimmery but is actual much more subtle and wearable on the skin; it gives good, noticeable glow but without that glitter ball effect.
I really can't fault this palette and it's actually extremely rare that I find a palette in which I will happily use every shade without leaving the odd few completely unloved and looking very sorry for themselves. The price isn't too bad either at £49.00 considering the price of some of these products individually; granted you are getting a lot less than the full size but there's definitely enough to keep you going for a while.
You can pick up the 'Instant Look In A Palette' at any Charlotte Tilbury counter or from her website here.
