BEAUTY: Korres Mandarin Lip Butter Stick, The Best Lip Balm Ever?
When it comes to lip balms, I'm not too fussed to be honest. As long as it's moisturising, not too sticky and doesn't smell offensive then I'm happy...oh and I tend to prefer it in stick form purely for the fact that I often end up rubbing the residue from pot balms on my jeans or something so I don't have a sticky finger (yeah I know, that's a little gross but don't pretend you don't do the same!).
My current Burt's Bee's lip balm was coming to an end so I thought I'd try something new and just happened to come across this in Waitrose and it's completely changed my lip balm mindset. From now on all lip balms will be compared to this beauty!
I really do love everything about this balm, they definitely chose the right name for it because it really is like a pot of lip butter in stick form and I cannot fault it's shea butter enriched formula whatsoever. It is so creamy and rich that it just melts into your lips and leaves them amazingly soft and moisturised with no sticky residue at all. I was also pleasantly surprised by the scent because when I picked it up I didn't pay much attention and only realised when I got home that it was a mandarin scented lip butter, something I would normally avoid. I am pleased to say however that it doesn't really smell like mandarin at all, there is probably a slight hint of it but to be honest it just smells like fruity, sweet, shea butter to me, basically it smells gorgeous.
So if you're after a new lip balm I would definitely recommend giving this one a go, I'm already planning to get another one because I've just discovered that they also do tinted versions! You can pick them up here for £8.
